Hey there! I’m Stefanie Senior, a seasoned registered dietitian with over 15 years of experience helping women reach their weight loss goals in a way that’s personalized, realistic, and sustainable.

My journey as a registered dietitian began in 2008 – and let me tell you, it’s been quite the adventure! 

It all started with my role in running a 12-week weight management program at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. That experience ignited a passion within me to help people take control of their health and wellness in a meaningful way.

Fast forward to 2011, and I decided to venture into private practice. Little did I know, it would exceed all my expectations. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of incredible women, both individually and in group settings, across various locations in Toronto – from esteemed academic institutions such as the University of Toronto to bustling corporate environments such as The Royal Bank of Canada.

But let’s get real for a moment: before I found my true calling, I faced my own set of challenges. 

Picture this: 12 years of battling relentless cravings, enduring frustrating weight fluctuations, and trying every diet strategy in the book with minimal success. It felt like a never-ending cycle of dieting, succumbing to cravings, overeating, and struggling with feelings of guilt.

In fact the harder I “tried” to manage my weight, the harder it got. 

However, adversity often serves as a catalyst for growth! 

In 2004, after returning from a year travelling abroad, I decided that I couldn’t live like this anymore. Not only did I feel like I had completely lost control over food, but I had sleeping problems, anxiety, and terrible energy levels. I used to think “I’m 24 years old but I feel 90”. 

Fueled by determination, I returned to university to pursue advanced studies in nutrition. I was so done with feeling lost and confused about what I should be doing with my health – it was time to get some real answers once and for all. 

Along the way, I uncovered invaluable insights: the diets I’d been following were disrupting my body’s natural balance. 

What I actually needed was to fuel and nourish my body PROPERLY, regain my innate ability to listen to my hunger and fullness signals, change my dieting mindset, and rebuild my relationship with food. 

When I finally had that revalation, it was transformative. The cravings dissipated, and I regained control over my health and eating habits. My energy levels skyrocketed and lost all the weight I gained and have kept it off for 20 years. 

Eager to share my newfound understanding, I began implementing these principles with my clients, witnessing remarkable transformations firsthand.

From that point on, my mission was clear: to empower women everywhere to make informed decisions about nutrition, build lasting habits, and cultivate a positive relationship with food. 

This mission gave rise to the creation of the LIVE LEAN program, a culmination of over 15 years of experience, designed to guide women in overcoming the dieting mentality and embracing sustainable health practices that get true lasting results.

No cookie-cutter restrictive meal plans here. I’m all about customizing your approach to fit your unique needs, lifestyle, and tastes. Balance, not deprivation, is the name of the game. It’s about progress, not perfection.
